Lloyd's of London are just short of thieves. I'm part of a very small condo association in Fort Lauderdale. Lloyd's required updates to our electrical panels ($1800 cost). They give us 60 days. Due to demand, we were unable to get a company to begin on such a small job in that time frame. We requested a 30 day extension. It was denied. 3 weeks later the electrical panels were done. Lloyd's forced a rewrite of our insurance and increased our insurance from 15k to 36K.
More than double for an improvement that was not causing an immediate issue and was done within our requested 30 day extension. They made the rules, they did not work with us at all, knowing how hard it is to get a contractor right now. As far as I'm concerned, they have stolen 19K from a small place that can't afford it.

Absolutely terrible this insurace gladly took full business premiums during the shutdown months of covid. Denied claims for business loss for some sketchy at best wording in the policy. After a premium audit was complete and numbers clearly reflected the loss of revenues they refused an premium refund. Perfect example of alot for nothing in return.

I have been out of business since the Pandemic started in March and they won't give back money for the business I did not have. Our premium was based on sales which were less then half of what we normally do! They will not refund any money! They are the worst company! Beware! They will be hearing from my attorneys! Should be no stars!
