Bought Home and Contents Insurance via Thamesbank in Nov 2021. Cover included Home Emergency cover and Key cover. Have just had a home emergency and checked paperwork to find the Home Emergency cover is NOT with the same company that do Home AND Contents cover. Calling the number in the provided Home Emergency cover paperwork takes me somewhere that says they don't deal with me, and I was bounced elsewhere incorrectly for a boiler emergency (which is not my emergency). Got given another number to call to be told (on the next call) that they no longer raise claims since Dec 2021.

They checked my details on the system and found a Home Emergency cover policy started AND cancelled only ONE WEEK after I bought policies via Thamesbank (the policy number is identical to what Thamesbank have on their summary screen when I log in). No communication when and why cover was started AND stopped, no explanation of why I haven't got Home Emergency cover despite paying via Thamesbank for it, and of course no easy way to get hold of Thamesbank. DEFINITELY DO NOT TOUCH.

Critical: Quality As numerous others have stated, ended up paying 35 cancellation fee, and one month's payment, even though I did my best for this to not automatically renew by email whist I was out of the country. Patronising staff member. I will avoid like the plague.

Critical: Professionalism Premium last year was 308, this year I was told it was auto-renewing at a price of 732.93. Worse than that, the email I got said it was going to auto-renew at 83.55 per month which was actually 835.50. Glad I have read these reviews!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Impossible company to deal with. Straight forward claim was passed over. Now they have put me on to an auto renewal - I can't get through to the number they supplied on the renewal email and the live chat button conveniently doesn't work. AVOID.

Allowed me to purchase a policy and then was told that I had been quoted the wrong price. Felt like I was being scammed. Was told that a software issue had caused the wrong quote to appear on a comparison site for 30 minutes. Although the same policy was still available hours later for the same price.

Had 12 months home insurance brokered through this company. Thankfully never had to claim. Came to automatic renewal, I've spoken with them twice, 3 weeks in advance of renewal date to ensure my policy doesn't renew - and they tried to take payment today anyway. I'd avoid these like the plague.

The company is chasing me for an admin fee from a policy I supposedly had years ago. When pressed to provide information on this they aren't able to provide an precise details and just push for a cash payment. I've forwarded the details to the fraud prevention agency and would suggest anyone dealing with this organisation to be very cautious.
