Terrible. Trying to get my jeep fixed properly for over a year now. Disgusting the way i have been treated. Cant even get a return call from the claims team over my vehicle. AXA have been just terrible to deal with and left me having to pay out of my own pocket for a jeep that is still under a 3 year warranty so i was told

Got a car insurance quote based on the details I gave and hence bought the car from a dealer. When I called the next day for payment etc, a different agent this time simply refused to give insurance for some weird reason saying you can't have car insurance in India and Ireland blah blah. Eventually got sorted with Liberty insurance. AXA is a joke seriously! No standard practice followed. You could be lucky if you get through to a good agent otherwise best of luck.

Got a quote online for AIB AXA car insurance, price way higher than competitors, but that's ok. However (and it happened before with them) i got something like 5 calls from them over the following day or two. No other competitor is such a stalker. But the best bit was this guy today, Ryan or Brian. i picked up the phone and told him that i had already spoken to a colleague of his earlier, he just went off with a "yeah., you have a good day, ok? " and just hung up. . Honestly just pick up a random drunk guy from the street and get a better level of professionalism. Btw, the representative i had talked before (northern irish accent) was very polite

After some time with Axa had a chimney fire, the Axa assessor arrived and carried out an assessment. Some days later we were contacted by Axa and told that their contractor would be unable to complete the work at all but that they would offer a settlement instead. The fire occurred in early November, and it was mid-December before Axa made an offer.
In the interval, we had a quote from a third party which we sent to Axa hoping this would inform the settlement offer. Axa offered a settlement that was far below the quote we provided, and after numerous calls, we were unable to get Axa to either explain how they had calculated their quote, and as such we have been left paying a significant amount of money ourselves for something that should have been covered by our insurance.
Terrible company to deal with don't provide coverage and are not transparent in the way they calculate costs, how can they work out a cost for work they can't actually do?!

Very bad experience! I bought the car excess with Axa for the rental car. The issue starts when you try to get the refund for your claim: I started getting e-mails, there and forward, with the same questions, asking for the same documents all over again. There was no tel. number given in the email and it is almost impossible to call them through to discuss the issue.
The amount of phone numbers I was switched to is unbelievable. Eventually I got the email back from Axa with the incorrect refund amount on it (negative for me of course). Overall, it has been over two month since I place the claim and I still cannot see the money on my account.

Not a great experience dealing with these guys. Story is somebody rear ended me. I have a friend in crash repair so was on to them within the hour. Everything was going well and was booked in to get my van fixed. Courtesy van not a problem. Day I was handing back the courtesy van and picking up my repaired van I got hit with a bill for VAT! Reason giving was that I was VAT registered so I had to pay the VAT and claim it back. Now that is a joke and I am now out of pocket because of something not my fault. I was told policy is policy. I know I will never now use AXA and that will be my policy!
