As a fiercely independent healthcare cash plan provider, UK Healthcare doesn't operate within the traditional broker market and so as such focuses on selective partnerships. By only dealing direct with the end user or through one of our strategic partners, we can keep to our low cost base strategy and minimise unnecessary outgoings which in return helps maxmise benefit returns. Healthcare costs can be expensive and difficult to budget for, especially when it comes to unplanned medical expenses. By implementing a Corporate Healthcare Cash Plan scheme from UK Healthcare, some of the key features that it might help to support can be seen below. Starting from just 1 per employee, per week, employers can choose the level of healthcare insurance cover that they can comfortably afford.
Immediate benefit: - All employees, partners and children can claim immediately with no "qualifying period". Children: - Up to 4 children per adult can be covered on the policy completely free of charge. Each child will receive a separate additional benefit package which will mirror the level of the parent.

Absolutely terrible experience! I am epileptic and was in for standard surgery and prior to surgery made sure to have all medical staff aware that my medicine needed to be ordered from pharmacy or I'd have a seizure. They did not do this and that's exactly what happened. I consider this malpractice and so I refuted the bill to which they decided was not malpractice even though I've lost all independence, not being able to drive, having to move back in with my parents and much much more! I will NEVER been seen at UK again as this was not the first time this had happened and I am now responsible for the bill which I cannot afford! DO NOT go to UK!

I am writing this on behalf of my husband. He is a patient of the Gastroenterology department. It has not been the first time that appointments are changed suddenly or that his reasons of not being able to drive the 2 hours one way to the hospital is misunderstood. But to change a surgery date? Understand that a Chron's patient goes through a lot of physical pain while trying to keep a mental strength, I cannot even put myself in his shoes, so no expert can actually say "I understand what you go through".
As the spouse of their patient, I see the other side, his mental strength. But that broke down when his surgery date was changed due to "covid-19" and that only priority cases were going to be considered? Excuse me, isn't his situation a "priority case" and as such it was considered to have a soon surgery procedure? Not only that, the moment he was given a date, I helped him to make arrangements: a friend who is out of state already booked her flight and took PTO to stay with our child while I drive him to the hospital.
I also got permission to be off at least for that day. Because his condition has created bowel incontinence, it is a must that he is in a place with access to the restroom the day before of the surgery, so we made arrangements for this as well, that way he doesn't have to get up at 3 AM so we can be as early as possible in the hospital. But monetary wise, even if it isn't refunded, I don't personally care, my friend already said she would do her best to adjust to our current need, but it will be a loss we cannot afford.
When he got the surgery date, he said "I can hold this pain until that day". He hasn't been able to sleep since July, if he sleeps 3 hours straight, it is a miracle. Now think about this, every single night. His mental stress cannot endure so much. It is like the fortress he has hold for so long, is crumbling away. Add to this the constant battles he has gone since he was 11 years old.
The surgery situation is not like "I want to go shopping tomorrow", but then "Oh, you know, I think next week is best". I am afraid that pushing a date further down, will make him not to do this anymore and let himself drain him into a further deep depression. I wish I can speak positively, and I hoped that the appointment changes were only related to miscommunications, lack of thorough hospital organization, but surgery is another level. If I drive him to ER it will be to another hospital. Not UK, never.

This hospital is a joke, they will schedule you an appointment for 3 months out only to cancel on you 3 days before because the doctor decides to go on vacation and make you wait another 7 months. If you want a medical clown show where they don't care this seems like they place to go just don't schedule an appointment with them and expect them to keep it. They'll charge you to cancel but if they cancel on you oh well. Any other hospital would be a better choice.

Attempted to get information about rescheduling my vaccine booster appt and had a disgruntled employee (over the phone) tell me I did not qualify for the booster (after they approved me and scheduled me) and then refused to reschedule my appt. She was violating HIPAA throughout the WHOLE exchange (accusing me of not having the health "qualifications"). Was in tears by the end of the call after she said I was wasting her time and the hospital's. Called back to report to a Supervisor and the woman I spoke to was apologetic but the damage was done.
They're lucky I don't go after legal action after that exchange (especially being the daughter of a CA hospital's Corporate Compliance Officer). This is exactly why this state has issues with folks getting inoculated because of patient relations. Seriously disturbing.

UK Healthcare has been my and my husband's healthcare provider for 35 years. We have both experienced life threatening medical conditions that required surgeries and lengthy follow up, some of which is ongoing. We have received nothing but expert, compassionate care on every level from clerks, Doctors, nurses, and techs. I highly recommend it.

The Doctors at this hospital have no compassion or Empathy for with their patients are going through. This hospital is the worst experience I have ever had to endure. This has been the worst year of my life. There was so many things and injustes that happened to me here I could even keep it on one page. But if you are looking for a good pulmonary Doctor let me recommend Dr Belt. He went above and beyond for me and I appreciate his care.

My son came there already terminal. But the ER physician chose to tell me that in E.R hallway with no family around and showed me his ex ray right there. I told him he had no bedside manner and was the most heartless Dr on the planet. Then we were hounded literally for his organs. Which he was life flighted with no clothes, no wallet. If you want to donate your organs they need your wallet. The worst day of our lives was made worse by the care he recieved there. UK does take excellent care of the children though. So I'll give them a 3
