Bill qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1986 with Healey and Baker working in the retail property sector. He then spent six years at Phillips Auctioneers' Bond Street head office as a valuer of fine art and antique furniture. From 1994 to 2003 Bill worked for Chubb Insurance specialising in the insurance of high value houses, fine art, jewellery and cars.
