Johnson S & Co Ltd Quick and easy Business Insurance cover for Musical Instrument Retailers, Manufacturers, Wholesalers & Allied Trade. A series of insurance policies composed for the Music Industry by S. Johnson & Co (specialist Music Trade Insurance Brokers) in co-operation with leading UK insurers and with the approval of the Music Industries Association. Specialist Cover - We understand the way that the industry works and the features provided by Cover Notes are, we believe, the widest cover currently available in the UK insurance industry at competitive rates.
Services
S Johnson & Company began trading in 1990 when Steven Johnson decided to sing solo. Our original intention was to provide a wide range of cover including motor insurance, household insurance and of course commercial lines cover. By the early nineties the emphasis had changed from general insurance broking to specialising in commercial insurance and in 1993 Graham Ettrick joined the band to head up the commercial lines area.
Whether you are a Retailer, Wholesaler, Manufacturer, Piano Tuner, Teaching School, Repair Workshop or Allied Trade, cover is specific to the Music Industry and is continually reviewed and enhanced. Whilst the scheme is conducted primarily with Zurich, Hiscox, LV= & Allianz we are able to use other major UK insurers who are now able to offer the unique Cover Notes special features.
Stock - includes goods in trust, held for repair, items to be sold on commission or in storage. Second Hand Goods are covered as standard. Fixtures and fittings/All other Contents - includes Computer / Electronic Business equipment. Exhibition Cover - Briefly: Stock and stands covered whilst at UK/EU Exhibitions up to 20% of your total stock sum insured.
We have been running schemes for over 20 years for specific trades. Insurance is about reassurance - being comfortable with the insurer and the broker. We run our scheme using a number of the UK's largest insurers - Zurich, Hiscox, LV= (Liverpool Victoria), Allianz and AVIVA to name but a few. We currently insure a large selection of Retailers, Wholesale & Distribution and Manufacturing risks across the UK - there follows a brief list of some of our clients who have given their permission for us to publicise the fact that we insure them.

A beautiful coffee shop in a an amazing building. There are not many visible signs but it is located near Richmond hill center for performing arts. I had a piece of banana loaf which was delicious and there are art works on the walls that make the place beautiful and you can buy them if you like. Also there are books to read if you like to spend some quiet time reading. Went there again and they have live music on Saturday at 12:00. Had a salad and chocolate mousse cake which was not that great. And for some reason the lady who took our order was not friendly!

Amazing place. Great atmosphere. Really cool idea to have books in the coffee place. You can take one and browse through it as you enjoy great Flat White: Sandwiches and scones are fantastic. Pastries also not too bad. Loved their playlist on the background. It felt old school and quite diverse. Hats off to the barista es well. One of the few places where they still try to make beautiful coffee! It became our go to place

Covernotes has a beautiful, cozy atmosphere that I can't get enough of. There's a selection of classic and contemporary art on the walls that are changed every couple of weeks. Tons of books on the shelves. They have a huge selection of teas. I had the Ontario Ice Wine and loved how I could taste every fruit/spice that was in the mix. I also tried their chicken club sandwich, with everything cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

A cute little cafe with drinks, food and baked goods. There are books everywhere as well as seating inside and out on the patio, if you want to study (they have wifi and some outlets) or read or chat for a bit. They had some fall seasonal drinks which I enjoyed. They do have a 1.5 hour seating limit which gets enforced when it gets crowded, typically around lunch time.

Their avocado toast is just amazing. Don't forget to add eggs and bacon on the toast. I like how the shop owner decorates the shop, it feels cozy and very relaxing.

Love it! Absolutely an amazing place! Coming from Scandinavia this feels exactly like home. The coffees taste really great and the food was prepared on site and came out tasty and delicious! I would totally recommend the Avocado Toast (slightly spicy) and the Breakfast Bagel! The lighting in the shop is slightly dark, but we choose the window because we prefer it to be a little brighter. We love the details of the brick walls and the beautiful paintings! And lots and lots of books! Be sure to support this local business during these difficult times!

Such a lovely place, great atmosphere, drinks and food are great, laptop friendly, soft seats, a huge patio with tarp and covers (good for rains but not sure if it'd be cold in the snow). Lots of people comes and goes, very busy, it has 1.5 h time limits.

Well maintained historical high school building has been converted Into coffee house. There's a beautiful statue of dancers at front. It's the fusion of classical and modern. In hot summer, sitting on the patio and having a cup of coffee, how comfortable it is.
