Only dealing in general insurance means that we can concentrate on this and try to get the best deals for our customers and providing a local service, this is especially important in the event of a claim. When something goes wrong you have to phone a call centre which can be a very bad experience. Most insurers charge a large admin fee on top of any changes made to the policy.

Swinton's charge 35 on top of any additional premium which is about average for the industry when buying direct. They do not highlight this when the policy is taken out.
