I've had a personal accident policy for the entirety of my 15 year career after being sold it during basic training. In that time I've suffered hearing loss and permanent tinnitus from explosions and been medically discharged. The policy has specific get out clauses to avoid paying out. Not really suitable for anyone who is serving. Much better providers are available. Update 8 months on - I did get in touch with their customer services team and made a complaint.
They have not responded in 8 months. I contacted PAX and submitted a claim almost 10years after it happened which they accepted and paid out. If your are serving, avoid these at all costs.

They were happy to make my payments. But when I had to make a claim, they said they would replace my item with a certain model. So I agreed and paid my excess, they then sent out a different lesser model. And I basically got told it's tough, it's in my T&C's that they can do it. When I emailed them to complain and ask questions about it, i just got ignored. Have cancelled my renewal and will go elsewhere. Definitely will not recommend.

I am very proud to say I have worked for Trinity now for 4 years. Everyone is passionate about providing great service to the armed forces, and being married to someone in the military, this has always been very important to me. I work with a very caring, lovely bunch of people and consider myself lucky to work here.

Unfortunately I've had to go through the process of making a claim for my laptop. Trinity Insurance associated with (Davies-group) insurance brokers, uses (Value checkers) to value check claims and source devices. Now My laptop a ( Sony Vaio), though old is unquestionably of a very high specification and a well respected brand. This company has offered an inferior brand and specification laptop as a replacement, a laptop that's no longer being sold by the manufacturer or high street shops.
Despite there being several branded devices of similar specification and similar cost. Obviously this is an effort to save money. As a customer that pays hundreds of pounds per year for an insurance policy to protect valued possessions, this is NOT a situation anyone wishes to be in. This is the worse interaction I've had with any insurance company and associates over the last 18 years.
I would recommend everyone to conduct background checks on who your insurance companies are associated with. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES! Needless to say, once my contract concludes, I'll be swiftly moving on
